This deformed building is a temporary art installation by Pierre Delavie.
When 39 George V Avenue in Paris was undergoing renovation in 2007, the scaffolding would become a sore in the eye to residents and visitors. Instead, Pierre Delavie deformed, enlarged, and printed photos of the building on large panels, hiding the restoration work behind it.
