In a Bicolano legend, the Mayon Volcano in the Philippines is said to have grown from the burial ground of the lovers Daragang Magayon and Panganoron. Myths and legends say Magayon is the volcano and Panganoron is the clouds that surround the beautiful volcano. During an eruption of the Mayon Volcano in January 2018, the two lovers were clearly visible in the ash clouds. Or is it just a case of pareidolia?
