Rakotzbrücke in Germany is one of the most photographed places in the country. It was designed in the 1800s to form an optical illusion with the spectacular reflection in the water below, which is rare for a bridge.

Rakotzbrücke is nicknamed Devil’s Bridge because in Medieval times it was believed that the Devil was a very skilled architect. There are several stunning bridges in Europe with this nickname.

Until recently the bridge was relatively unknown, but Instagram has turned it into an instantly recognizable landmark.
