This photo was taken in Kazakhstan and quickly named ‘Eye of God’ by people online. Obviously, this is just a case of pareidolia.
Pareidolia is when we try to find meaning in random patterns. This is quite a common thing when it comes to clouds. Our ancestors probably would have seen this as a bad omen, but we would describe it as a Cumulonimbus cloud formation and expect nothing more than rain.
