Yosemite Firefall is a waterfall in Yosemite National Park (Horsetail Fall) in California. For about two weeks in February, the waterfall gets hit by orange light around sunset and lights up like a firewall for 5-15 minutes.
Until recently the event was not that well-known, but social media has turned the waterfall into an instantly recognizable landmark. It now attracts huge crowds every year, that “there is a restricted zone for watching the event”.
